LOZA Consulting · Operational Excellence · Theory to Practice

It looks easy in the book. On a real plant floor, everything changes.

You have the certification and the title. But connecting what you learned with what actually works on your plant floor is a different story.

How I work

Six Sigma and Operational Excellence, applied on a real plant floor

I know what works and what doesn't in operational excellence management. It's not the trendy tool: it's real plant-floor judgment.

01 · SIX SIGMA

Statistical rigor

The same statistical process control I used to make a plant the lowest-cost in an entire global network.

02 · OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

System, culture, standardization

The discipline that sustains a result beyond one good month: learned on the plant floor, not in a manual.

About Omar Lozano Zavala

I lived Six Sigma and Operational Excellence on a real plant floor, up to General Management.

This is where certification turns into plant-floor judgment.

I spent most of my career in textile manufacturing across LATAM: I started as a Six Sigma Black Belt on the plant floor and rose to General Manager, with full P&L responsibility over an operation of more than 1,000 people and an annual budget of $50 to $70 million.

The plant I ran became, on a sustained basis, the lowest-cost plant in the company's entire global network. Before that, as Director of Process Engineering for LATAM, I led a multi-country Lean transformation and trained more than 50 Six Sigma leaders.

That path taught me the difference between what looks easy in a course and what actually works when the team, the machine, and the customer are all waiting at once. Today I use that judgment to work with operations and continuous improvement professionals who already have the title, but not yet the result.
